Democracy Restored is continuing to investigate the USGCRP contract with ICF.

In case you missed it, the Trump administration cancelled a multimillion-dollar U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) contract with global contracting behemoth ICF to write the National Climate Assessment (NCA), the “crown jewel” of U.S. climate research.

The Trump administration cancelled the contract after reporting by the Daily Wire’s Brent Scher shone a light on ICF’s contract through NASA to develop the NCA. ICF, which ghostwrote the NCA, promoted doom and gloom in the document that is used across all federal agencies to craft climate policy and justify wanton spending.

The consulting firm also offers climate solutions to clients, meaning they made money off the doomspeak they were spinning. This contract raises many questions as to how the government is spending taxpayer dollars.

Democracy Restored Director Houston Keene spoke with Hugh Hewitt and Stacy Washington about the contract’s cancellation and what that means for America.
